Welcome!

My name is Jen and I am the owner and teacher for KinderWild Nature-Based Play & Learning classes.  I started teaching Tinkergarten in 2022 after rediscovering my own love for nature while homeschooling my 2 kids. After teaching for 15 years both in classrooms and early intervention settings, I realized that young children were getting less and less time outdoors, and missing opportunities to experience and connect with the natural world around them. This is what drew me to start teaching Tinkergarten, and eventually to create KinderWild, because it was my way of helping young children and their parents experience the wonder of messy, hands-on, nature play. I am very proud of what our community of guides and explorers have created together, and I hope that you'll consider joining one of our classes and checking out how we play.
